I am looking to map “how far The 5 Minute Lesson Plan has traveled across the UK and across the world?”, by asking all users to log the postal address of their school to this Google Map document. After 42,000 downloads (as of 13.1.13) and hundreds of adaptations…I am confident that The 5 Minute Lesson Plan has benefited the teaching profession no-end.
Here is a link to the original post on my website.
More importantly, the evidence of the plan suggests that it has provided the following:
- outstanding lessons.
- teachers receiving positive feedback from observers.
- reduced planning time.
- happier teachers.
- an online presence for collaborating lesson plans.
- reflective practitioners.
- planning templates translated into 3 languages.
- and an additional The 5 Minute Lesson Plan Evaluation by @IanMcDaid.
The impact in classrooms around the world must have reached 100,000 students and has made a direct impact on 1000’s of lessons. I have no doubt! Designed to reduce planning time and focus on key learning phases within a lesson.
