This is a blog about Frequently Asked Questions, and is merely additional information to filter out the guff content received. (April 2017)

If after reading all this, you’d still like to get in touch? Great!

Did You Get My Email?

Yes, and the 200 others we read or respond to every day …

Did You Get My Tweet? / Can You ReTweet my Tweet?

Yes and the 500-1000 other Twitter interactions we read or respond to every day … we will respond in due course. Thanks.

Nope. We missed it!

Did You See My Blog? / Can You ReTweet my Post?

No. We prefer to self-discover content to read.

Can You Offer Me Any Advice?

Of course! Send us an email and a day or two to respond; or leave a voice-mail for a quicker response.

*Disclaimer* If it’s about a project, start-up or an app you are developing, don’t bother.

Will You Review My Book?

Yes. But ‘only’ if the book is about education; and don’t expect a turnaround for at least 3-6 weeks!

If you’d like a quicker review, get in touch.

FAQs by @TeacherToolkit

Can You Write an Article for Our Publication?

Maybe. Let’s talk about what you pay for our time spent doing it …

Past articles are all listed here.

Do You Accept Guest Posts on Your Blog?

99% of the time, no!

We only guest blog content from services that we use in the classroom (or in school). More often that not, it’s our choice.

Would You Like To Attend Our [education] Event?

During the working day? Probably not.

During the evening and outside of London? Probably not.

During the evening/weekend and in London? Probably.

Overseas? Highly unlikely, unless it’s a conference and during my weekends or work-related holidays …

Can You Speak at Our Event?

Maybe. Email me and let’s talk about availability and what you need. We don’t get out much!

Would You Like to Meet and Talk to our CEO?

Only if they would like to discuss TT too …

Would You Like to See a Demo?

Absolutely not!

Yes, if it is free and we can use it in the classroom. Plus, you promise not to bore us for longer than 20-30 minutes.

If there is a cost, we still want it for free in return for a blogpost (on this site) about the impact it has in the classroom.

Will you Promote our ePetition? Publish Our Infographic?

No!

Can I Share Information  from Your Blog?

Yes, if you follow the Creative Commons license. Essentially, anything you adapt of my work, still belongs to @TeacherToolkit. Oh, and don’t try selling them on as your own work on other 3rd party platforms. We will find them!

For the technical buffs, this is called: Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0) This means you are free to:

Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

The licensor *that’s us) cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms under the following terms:

Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use (Moral or Intellectual Rights).

NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.

NoDerivatives — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material. (Many people DO NOT read this one)

No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Context:

We count ourselves lucky enough to be able to be in a position to be able to write a blogpost of this kind. The intended audience for this blog is for those who do not really know TT or our work. We were planning on writing this blogpost a number of weeks ago and had saved it into the (50+) draft blogposts corner of this blog for a rainy day. However, that rainy day has now arrived, after discovering a blog by @AudreyWaters of Hack Education (who we frequently read) and her version of Frequently Asked Questions which inspired us to share my FAQs for those who wish to Contact Us. It is not intended to be inflammatory to those whom we work with in the profession, but a buffer for those who contact us via the blog for their own (commercial) gain.
